Green and Low-Carbon Products and Production

UniNano Advanced Materials is a green, low-carbon and socially responsible application service provider of energy-saving insulation materials. Its series of products are produced by means of green and pollution-free processes, non-toxic and harmless raw materials and production equipment with low energy consumption; during production, no waste water or waste gas is generated, and all resources are efficiently used (such as waste heat steam from thermal power plants).

The Company not only reduces the cost from the source of production, but also saves energy for the country from the whole life cycle of the products; fundamentally reduces resource consumption and improves energy utilization. The raw materials of the products are non-toxic and harmless, and are from multiple suppliers and controllable sources, for example, solid waste can be treated into raw materials for nano-mesoporous composite insulation products.

The Company is located at the Private Industrial Park of Changzhou Wujin Economic Development Zone, adjacent to the West Taihu Lake Wetland Park, only 6 kilometers from the national water source area. The Company uses only the plants of Class D and Class E, showing safe and environmentally friendly production of its products.

Helping China to Achieve “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” Goals

In September 2020, China clearly put forward the goals of “Carbon Peaking” by 2030 and “Carbon Neutrality” by 2060. The “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” goals must be achieved through energy conservation, energy structure adjustment and green lifestyle, etc.

Thermal insulation materials are used widely as basic industrial raw materials, and their use in the domestic market alone is more than 500 billion tons. Improving the energy-saving efficiency of thermal insulation materials and reducing their costs are essential to achieving the “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” goals.

The mesoporous insulation materials independently developed by UniNano Advanced Materials are green and economic, and greatly improve the energy-saving efficiency. If they are fully promoted, it can save tens of millions of tons of standard coal and reduce hundreds of millions of tons of carbon dioxide emissions for China every year, which will play a very big role in helping to achieve the “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” goals.

UniNano Advanced Materials intervenes from the source of production, designs green and safe product life cycle, and carries out secondary recycling management after expiration of the product life, and achieve resource reuse by secondary processing of expired products to closely follow the “Carbon Neutrality” goal. (This is an optional value-added service which can be selected according to the customers’ actual needs.)

Help Enterprises to Achieve “Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction”

The mesoporous insulation materials independently developed by UniNano Advanced Materials adopt advanced green composite processes. The series products have low thermal conductivity, only half or less of that of traditional materials under the same working condition, with the combustibility reaching Class A1 non-combustible; they not only save energy, space and auxiliary materials, but also has low maintenance cost, saving the cost by about 90% or more for users in the product life cycle. UniNano’s energy-saving mesoporous insulation materials were listed in the National Recommended Catalogue of Industrial Energy-Saving Technologies and Equipment (2020) by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and were selected as one of the 14 classic energy-saving cases into the National Technical Guidelines on Industrial Energy-Saving Technology Application. At present, UniNano’s energy-saving mesoporous insulation materials have been widely used in nuclear industry, military industry, aerospace, petrochemical, electric power, furnaces, heating network, new energy, fire protection, LNG storage & transportation and other fields, with more than 400 application cases in total, receiving high praise and trust from customers.
