On November 28th, the 12th China-Italy Innovation Cooperation Week kicked off at Shougang Park in Beijing. Prof. Luan Yucheng, Founder of our company, held extensive exchanges with Mr. Massimo Ambrosetti, Italian Ambassador to China, and Dr. Ronca, Representative of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR).

Yin Hejun, Minister of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, delivered a video welcome speech to the Cooperation Week. Zhang Guangjun, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of China, and Ana Maria Bernini, Minister of Universities and Research of Italy, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Also present at the opening ceremony and delivering speeches were Zhang Tao, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science, Technology and Education of the General Administration of Sport of China, Yu Yingjie, Vice Mayor of Beijing, Prof. Tiziana Lippiello, Rector of Ca' Foscari University of Venice and President of the Conference of Italian University Rectors, Zhang Jihong,Director of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, and Riccardo Villari, President of Italy's Science City. Mr. Massimo Ambrosetti, Italian Ambassador to China, also attended the opening ceremony.

At this exchange meeting, Mr. Massimo Ambrosetti, Italian Ambassador to China, had a cordial meeting with Prof. Luan Yucheng, Chairman of our company. Meanwhile, Chairman Luan Yucheng held a one-on-one exchange with Dr. Ronca, Representative of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). Prof. Luan introduced the application of nanotechnology in the energy sector. Dr. Ronca presented an overview of the National Research Council of Italy and shared insights into the frontiers of polymer materials. The two sides fully discussed their intention to carry out China-Italy international cooperation, including but not limited to joint scientific research, mutual exchange of visiting scholars, and industrialization implementation.

With the theme "Carry Forward the Legacy of the Tech-empowered Winter Olympics and Join Hands for High-quality Development", the 12th China-Italy Innovation Cooperation Week features sessions including the opening ceremony, ministerial-level bilateral meetings, parallel forums, one-on-one matchmaking meetings for China-Italy sci-tech innovation projects, and exhibitions of China-Italy cooperative projects. Guests from both countries conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on fields such as the Tech-empowered Winter Olympics, intelligent manufacturing, design and art industries, cultural heritage protection, youth innovation, next-generation information technology, agriculture, food and health, blue economy, and green energy.

Co-hosted alternately by the governments of China and Italy on an annual basis, the China-Italy Innovation Cooperation Week has been successfully held 11 times in multiple cities across both countries since 2010. It has facilitated the signing and implementation of a large number of China-Italy sci-tech cooperation projects, played an important role in promoting sci-tech exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, and serves as a key platform for fostering comprehensive cooperation between China and Italy.
